Who says you can't keep the romance alive with kids? This Valentine's holiday, make it a family getaway filled with romance at these sweet resorts offering special sweetheart packages for families.

Date Night at Terranea Resort, Los Angeles

Getaway to South California for beautiful beach views at the romantic Terranea Resort. The Date Night Package gives mom and dad time alone while the kids enjoy some supervised fun. Starting at $955 per night, families receive a two- to four-bedroom Casita or Villa with living areas, kitchens and dining rooms. As the kids enjoy an evening at Tide Pool Kids Club (up to two kids), parents can enjoy a romantic dinner for two in mar'sel, Nelson's or Catalina Kitchen. Packages at the Los Angeles-area resort are valid the entire month of February.

My Little Valentine at Hilton Garden Inn, Carlsbad

Bring the kids to Carlsbad, just outside of San Diego, for a romantic Valentine's package at the Hilton Garden Inn. The Romance Package features accommodations with early check-in and late check-out, breakfast for two and sparkling wine upon arrival, then enjoy a special three-course Valentine's dinner all month long for $36.50 per person, and free for kids 12 and under. Accommodations begin at $193 per night.

Romancing the Beach at Sandestin, Florida

The Sandestin Resort is known for being family friendly, so enjoy the Romance Package, starting at $545, which includes two nights in a deluxe Grand Sandestin Studio, a romantic dinner for two at Bistro Bijoux, two half-hour massage sessions, chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, and more. While you enjoy alone time on the Florida Panhandle, kids can enjoy ClubKZ, a fully supervised program for kids 4 to 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, or the Children's Evening Out dinner and fun, 6 to 10 p.m.

Sweetheart Deal at Smugglers Notch

Between February 12 and 15, couples can enjoy a Club Smugglers getaway to Smugglers Notch, Vermont, with one of three Packages. Upon arrival, guests receive a Cabot Creamery Gift Box and $50 in resort credit along with accommodations that start as low as $139 per person, per night. Select the Club Smugglers'™ Classic or Summit Package and receive free childcare at Treasures, for children 6 weeks to 3 years -- an $85 per child, per day, savings.

Romance Package at Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island

While the kids enjoy the pools, kids' programs and long stretch of beach at this Amelia Island resort, couples can enjoy some private time and specials with the Romance Package. Valid the entire month of February, the Ritz Carlton package includes accommodations, champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries at check in, rose petal turn down service, breakfast for two in room and a late check out starting at $379 per night. For kids, the resort features its Ritz Kids and Kids Night Out supervised programs for children ages 5 through 12.

Remember Romance at Gaylord Palm

Take the kids to Orlando for a kid-friendly vacation, but stay at the Gaylord Palms to add a touch of romance to the trip. Receive accommodations, champagne, breakfast for two, $40 daily meal credit, and 20 percent off of spa services with the Remember Romance package, starting at $285 per per night. Special in-room Kids Nite Out childcare services can be provided -- perfect for a romantic dinner or couple time at the spa.
