Spent 2 nights here last week for a conference nearby. Hotel is about 11 miles from Washington’s Union Station. Reception area was accommodating and friendly. There is a bar in the lobby. Rooms are nice size. Gym onsite Easy walking distance to many restaurants. Would stay here again

I had a conference in National Harbor in October 2019, the conference hotel was sold out, so I decided to stay nearby at a Marriott Property (AC Hotel National Harbor) so that I could collect my Marriott Reward Points. I accidentally booked a prepaid reservation and put in the incorrect dates of the conference. Apparently, I didn't realize that when you Pre-Pay your hotel rate it is non-changeable and non-refundable...good to know.

I was unsuccessful changing the hotel dates calling the hotel main number or 800 reservation central number, so I figured I was out of luck. However, when I checked in, I explained the situation to Shawnic Brooks, Senior Operations Manager, and she took care of everything, upgraded me to a room with a view (beautiful waterview next to Ferris Wheel) and made sure my stay was just perfect.

Throughout the conference, I was astounded at the courteousness of the hotel staff, housekeeping and even the valet. Everytime I entered the lobby I was greeted by hotel staff and asked if I needed anything. Then, when I was departing, the valet remembered who I was and which car was mine--without my having to show my valet ticket to retrieve my vehicle.

I travel a lot for work and half the time I cannot even remember which city I was in or what conference I attended, let alone, which hotel I stayed at. The AC Hotel National Harbor really left a great impression on me...and my standards are pretty high since I'm a little bit of a hotel snob.

I highly recommend this property...I look forward to my return! :)
