About Algonquin Hotel
Known for its famous feline mascot, Matilda, the Algonquin is New York City's oldest operating hotel. Staying here is like staying in a piece of history, with its classy ambiance and it Old New York decor. Rooms come with one standard or two twin beds. There are also select premier suites available with a separate living room. The Oak Room Supper Club serves food in the hotel and showcases cabaret dancers. The Round Table Room presents retro dishes taken from the original owner's cookbook. There is a lot of history to this hotel, and the atmosphere is fun to experience. With live music, theater and eateries in the area, there is plenty to do right on your doorstep.
