Open daily, the Blue Lagoon is a well-run attraction. Lockers, changing rooms, showers, robes, swimsuits, and anything else you may need are available, with only a certain number of visitors allowed in at hourly intervals to prevent the lagoon from becoming too crowded. In the lagoon — which is 104 degrees but doesn’t feel so hot when the air temperature hovers near 0 — guests can apply mud masks, grab a smoothie or drink from the bar, and sit beneath a waterfall.

The area also features a café and a fine-dining restaurant, and visitors could end up spending an entire day here; be sure to leave yourself ample time to enjoy it.

Children ages 2 to 13 are free to enter with an adult. Children 2 to 8 must wear inflatable armbands, which are provided by the lagoon.
