Camana Bay

10 Market Street, 772, Grand Cayman

Located on Grand Cayman, Camana Bay is an outdoor promenade with shops, restaurants and a movie theater. It’s also home to the Camana Bay Observation Tower, the second-highest point on the island.

Camana Bay is surprisingly family-friendly, with kid-centric shops (hello, Gelato & Co.) and activities for all ages. The fun includes story time at the movie theater, colorful “bubble” seats your teens will want to put on Snapchat, hammocks, a farmer’s market, and perhaps best of all, playful fountains and spraygrounds. (Fun Fact: The fountains were designed by the same people who created the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas). Camana Bay offers summer camps, as well, with programs including cooking, photography, and basketball.

Families can also take advantage of The Rise, a pedestrian walkway added in 2018. The path connects North Sound to Seven Mile Beach for easy access to the sand and surf! Families can also visit the Harbour for water sport and luxury charters, with popular excursions including visits to Stingray City. From the Harbour, you can also utilize Cayman Ferries shuttles to Kaibo Beach Club.

Camana Bay offers some great, family-friendly restaurants, as well. Head to The Brooklyn Pizza + Pasta for delicious wood-fired pizza and its complimentary flower pot bread, or the Waterfront Urban Diner for casual favorites.
