Families with young kids will thrill them at the Children’s Museum, which has tons of fun activities for varied ages (up to around 9-10 years old). Play rooms are set up according to the developmental level they are intended for: throughout the museum, there are “baby zones,” a room for “threes and younger,” the “big kid zone,” etc. In the various exhibits, kids can explore a soft-sculpture “someplace,” be a pretend cook or customer in the child-sized cafe where the “food” is made of fabric, send toy racecars speeding down tracks, master a tricycle, express themselves through hands-on art, climb around a massive treehouse, or curl up in the book loft, plus much more–for a total of over three hundred play experiences on three floors.
