Located on the waterfront of the shallow waters of Little Assawoman Bay, the beginner-friendly Costal Kayak features kayak, standup paddleboard and sailboat rentals. Standup paddleboards and single or tandem kayaks for the bay or the ocean are available to rent by the hour, multi-hour, full-day, three-day or week. Hobie Cats are available to rent by the hour. A basic lesson is always given to those who may have never paddled before.

Guided kayak or paddleboard eco-tours are also available and make for a fun way to see the coastline. Five different tours are offered and take place in the mornings or around sunset. If a tour does not launch directly off the shores of Coastal Kayak, visitors will be informed of where to meet. Tours last anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours and often includes some time for beachcombing. The tours usually consist of six kayaks (up to nine people) with one guide or 10 kayaks (up to 13 people) with two guides.

Cost
Cost varies based on rental or tour. Reservations are not needed for rentals, but are required for guided tours. Delivery of rentals to your vacation rental is also available.

Age Policy
Children between 7 and 11 years old are permitted in a tandem kayak and children over 11 can paddle a single kayak.

Parking
A large, free parking lot is available to guests.
