Disney’s Africa

Bear Island Road, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Lake Buena Vista, 32830, FL

In Africa, travel to the mythical village of Harambe and embark upon one of the most exciting adventures in all of the Disney theme parks. In the new Harambe Theater, celebrate with Simba and friends and enjoy an air-conditioned break as you experience “Festival of the Lion King,” a 30-minute musical, circus-style stage show featuring amazing acrobats, dancers and singers, all attired in colorful costumes.

On Kilimanjaro Safaris, a wild and bumpy ride through an African savannah, you’ll see giraffes, rhinos, hippos, zebras, lions and more. Don’t forget your camera. Make a FASTPASS+ reservation for this extremely popular attraction. You can see more hippos, along with meerkats, lowland gorillas, rare African birds and other unusual species like Okapi and Yellow-backed Duikers on Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, a scenic self-guided walking tour that takes around 20 to 30 minutes to complete. The trail is shaded and stroller-friendly, but if you have an infant, you might want to bring a front pack. If your kids love to dance or drum, check out the Tam Tam band near Tusker House. Audience members are often invited to join in on the African rhythmic fun!
