Cross the picturesque footbridge (hence the name) to this beach, where you’ll find ample opportunities for sunbathing and boogie boarding. The lovely beach also offers small tidal pools that are perfect for young children. Restrooms and a beachfront hotel, the Footbridge Beach Motel, add to the appeal for families.

Some people actually prefer Footbridge Beach to Ogunquit Beach, since it is smaller and therefore quieter.

Note that pets are not allowed on this beach, nor are there any concessions nearby. Parking will cost you about $20.
