Landis Valley Museum

2451 Kissel Hill Rd., Lancaster, PA

Located in Lancaster, Pa., this living history museum — which is actually a recreated village — features traditional homes, a schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, fire house and general store, and in them, period-clad guides who teach visitors about Pennsylvania German culture.

Horse-drawn wagon rides and farmsteads add to the fun for families.

Landis Valley Museum is open year-round, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for youth (ages 3 to 11) and free for those 2 and under.
