National Museum of Mathematics

11 East 26th St., New York , 10010 , NY

A little-known attraction in New York City, the National Museum of Mathematics (otherwise known as MoMath) not only makes math fun (or more fun for those who don’t particularly love it), but it also provides activities for children who are specifically between 4th and 8th grade. Much of the museum is interactive — think puzzles, a bicycle with square whales and a form of “human” bowling. Intrigued? The museum is open seven days a week, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (note: it closes at 2:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month).
