Overview

Though its three buildings date as far back as the early 19th century, the Belfry Inne and Bistro is relatively young, having first opened its doors in 1995. The 23-room property is a viable option for families visiting Sandwich, Mass., because of its top-shelf accommodations and onsite restaurant, along with its close location to the center of town.

While the outsides of the inne’s three houses — The Painted Lady, The Abbey and The Village House — are rustic and tastefully dated, their interiors come complete with modern furnishings, most including modern art, flatscreen TV’s, full private bathrooms, ultra massage tubs and gas fireplaces. Rooms also include 24 hour assistance, in-room massages and spa treatment, and 140 channels of complimentary cable TV and Wi-Fi Internet access.

The Inne’s popular restaurant, The Belfry Bistro, offers guests superb onsite dining. There are separate vegetarian and gluten-free menus, as well as a children’s menu, which includes salad, clam chowder, rib eye steak, grilled cheese and chicken fingers. Guests also receive complimentary breakfast daily.

Cape Cod - an adventure into the past and a vacation to remember

by Peter N

If you are looking for a great place to experience colonial history and do it all while enjoying exceptional accommodations and incredible food... this is it! Chris, the owner, was always around to help out or to serve (He waited on us for breakfast a lot) the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food at the bistro was incredible! so delicious! lots to see and do in the area too. We had a great time and would love to back anytime!

Great experience

We arrived a day early, but the owner, Chris, was extremely helpful and put us in a room in the hotel, a converted church, which was delightful. We ate twice in the Bistro and thoroughly enjoyed the food.
