1st I travel a lot to the out Islands of the Bahamas, never have I been treated the way we were as of this Trip to Bimini Big Game Club... Ok now I will start took, us over an hour to check in arriving by boat, its like the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing there. 1ST day, The docks were empty about .25% full and they could not make a decision where we could dock. We finally convince them to give us a slip near the resort, Checking in to the hotel we had reservations, (this is the only part that went smooth) Off to our room right away the A/C was not working, no matter how you set it, just did not work, reported it, told it was working fine that it was just hot outside. Water pressure was a joke, my sink at home drips more than the water coming out of the shower. Really took you at least 30 minutes to shower because of no water...But the docks and the sink had water pressure... The room was clean no problems with that. We got settled in and meet for dinner at the Club, sat outside nice breeze. We ordered dinner and you would think they went out to catch the fish, took us over an hour to be served. Have to admit the food was great but the service sucks (they need more people to work the kitchen and serving) The prices were not that bad little high but then you are on an island, However the tax is what kills you 18% tax, with a 12 % vat tax and then they add 18% tax for the tip 48% more on your bill... The problem I had with that is they know you are getting taxed with the tip so the service sucks. Next morning off for breakfast, we walked south on North Bimini , also most every building was closed or condemned, trash in the streets and just an eye sore, we made it to a small shack on the west side of the island for Breakfast, they took our order and we were told to wait outside (not a problem had a nice view) ... We got our breakfast: 2 coffee's 2 eggs each with toast and sausage, nice and tasted good...$44.00, Well did not go back there again, Fast forward to dinner on the second night, since we were tired from a full day of fishing we just agreed on eating at the club again, at least the food was good. We arrived at about 7:50 pm and sat at the bar, did not get a waiter until 8:10pm, so he took our order and the drinks as well, 20 minutes later comes back and the drinks are wrong (simple beers) and forgot one as well. We finally got served dinner at 9:20 pm and he forgot a couple of items, we would ask for some lemons for our cracked conch, comes back 5 minutes later with one slice for two of us, told him again we wanted a bunch of lemons, He never came back. I remember I had some on the boat, so off to the boat for our own lemons for dinner. The bill comes funny but he tried to charge us for stuff we never got and do not forget about the taxes with the added gratuity..Fthat we left him $5.00 for the 4 of us, Left the next morning ...Our rooms were $159.00 a night with all the add taxes came to $220.00 a night (no A/C or water pressure), We had a 31 ft boat they charge us $160.00 for the two days, The dock master was a good guy, but next time im going to the out island, never Bimini again...Rick
