Attraction

National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum

25 Main Street, Cooperstown, NY

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is a must-visit for any baseball fan. A self-guided tour with three floors of memorabilia tells the story of America’s favorite pastime.

A special treat is Generations of the Game, a short film that’s presented in the museum’s newly renovated Grandstand Theater; it’s a wonderful way to begin a family tour of the museum and a good introduction to the exhibits.

Exhibits include Shoebox Treasures, where you can see baseball cards from as far back as the 1880’s and stand in front of a green screen to customize your own baseball card; Women in Baseball, where the costumes worn in A League of Their Own are on display; and the Hall of Fame itself, where legendary baseball players are honored with their own plaques.

Hours
The museum is open between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily, with extended hours during the summer months.

Admission
Admission is $25 per adult, $15 for juniors (ages 7 to 12), $20 for seniors, and free for kids under age 6.
