Overview

Located adjacent to the JW Marriott, the CasaMaga, a AAA Four Diamond property, is a bit less luxurious than the JW, but it still provides an upscale ambience. Although the lobby is air-conditioned, the walkways to the rooms remain open-air — better for the plants that create a lush feel. Champions Sports Bar and Restaurant serves burgers and other American staples, and there’s nightly Karaoke. There’s a children’s menu, too. The children’s program for both the JW and the CasaMagna is located at this hotel. While the children’s room is unimpressive and dark, the crafts, dance lessons and pinata-making keep kids engaged, and children enjoy pool time and other activities around the resort.

Amazing hotel and staff!!

by sergi0550

This is one hotel that I keep returning to when I visit Cancun. Bernardo, at check in, Was great. If you want great service from the pool area, look for Florentino, Enrique and Victor! They’ll always go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The food throughout the hotel from the various restaurants is delicious and very affordable. I will continue to stay at this hotel due to the fact that the employees treat you like family. The hotel is clean with very comfortable rooms. And of course the views are amazing!! You will not be disappointed.

Relaxing Stay

by SumbryTaylor

I just checked out today from one of the most relaxing hotels stays I've had in a long time. I'm usually ready to get back in my own bed, but I hate I had to leave. Eric and Miguel at check in were awesome! They explained the hotel's amenities and upgraded me from the Carribean Suite to the Casa Magna Suite. Miguel even suggested a great taqueria not to far from the hotel. Although there was evidence the lobby was under construction it did not interrupt any aspects of our stay. The room was nice and spacious but the views were amazing. We sat on the balcony watching the waves come and go. Two 50 min massages came and $100 daily credit came with my room rate. Carmen and Elena were our masseuses for our beach massage and they made the trip even more relaxing. They did such a great job that my husband and I considered getting another one the next day. The food was good and reasonably priced. The drinks could have been a little stronger. We ate at Champions, La Isla, and room service. We've stayed at different hotels in Cancun, but the Marriott will definitely be my go to for a relaxing vacation.
