The circumstance why we had to stay at David Walley's Resort was due to my Dad passing and there were a lot of people staying at his house in town. We decided we wanted to have some peace after the service and we had wanted to try this resort. After a long drive from San Diego, I called to make sure we could check in late (early in the morning) and was told security would be waiting. The security guard was pleasant and walked us to our room. This is where the niceness ended. I woke in the morning and needed coffee, after driving all night. There was a full size coffee maker in the room and at most resorts the coffee packets match the coffee maker. The coffee packets were for the small single size makers, so I called to the front desk hoping I would get a reply of they had that size and would bring them over. The person at the front desk said they didn't have the size and that that was all they had. So, I was going to go to town three miles away to get coffee. Before I left one of the workers at the resort came to the door and handed me five packets of coffee that fit the coffee maker. When I spoke to the manager about customer service and training, I was argued with and treated poorly. The rooms were nice, I wish I could say it was a great stay. I didn't need the extra problems during my emotional time, I simply wanted some quiet time. The resort is cute and I wish I could have stayed longer but beware of the customer service it will ruin your stay!!!!

We had a good time at David Walley's in Genoa, Nevada. We had a one bedroom suite. We liked the kitchen, family room with fire place, and outdoor balcony area.
We enjoyed taking walks on the property and using the equipment in their spa. They have good cardio equipment, but lack strength machines. Would be nice if they added those in the future. We also enjoyed dining at their restaurant; we had lunch one day and breakfast another day during our stay.
