Average Hotel

Stayed at this local hotel for a family event. Compared to other Marriott Hotels that i stayed at recently, this was in physically rough shape. Our room, especially the bathroom, was small and needed to be completely refurbished. It was not what i normally expect at a Marriott.

The staff were fine, especially at the front desk, though i felt that the hotel was understaffed for my weekend there at the valet stand and the restaurant.

If you are visiting Charleston you need to driver or uber downtown. If you have a car - self park. It is easy and much cheaper.

Clean room on the tenth floor in the southwest corner of the residence tower with an expansive view from windows on south and west sides of building; very helpful front-desk and housekeeping personnel; safe; ready access to computer and printer
