The Family Greats: The tennis club, for my wife and children. They played twice during the week. If you have children (we do 6 and 9) let them enjoy the Camp Cloister and Club Sea Island. They had a great time and made a few new more +friends. Our children wanted to eat dinner without us, which let my wife and I enjoy our exquisite dinners through out the weekend.

The Fantastic: Golf at Sea Island is an experience everyone should have in their portfolio. Tough course with beautiful views. We live in Savannah so great courses are the norm but this one was special. My wife is into spa treatments and relaxing that way. The Fresh Start Package was great and she was very refreshed afterwards.

Food:
The Georgian Room provides elegant dining, but remember your slacks, coat, and tie. The salmon dish was excellent. Lunch at the Oak Room serving the best shrimp and grits, a southern staple. Blackened Grouper was also very good. If you want a steak Colt & Alison is the place for you, my wife got the Crab Crusted Sea Bass, and I was wishing for a bigger appetite.

The Price: For a family of four our staycation was a little expensive factoring in the food and drink. For the luxurious setting though we have made annual plans to do this again.
