Club Seabourne

by jaycru2

I’ll start by saying how great Carlos (Club Seabourne’s Manager) and his staff are. Always ready to help with any need we had. Beautiful, quiet and safe property. The houses (rooms) are in excellent condition, well situated (not far from town but far enough to not hear noise). AC, furniture and bathrooms are all in very good conditions. The views are very pleasing (right in front of a cove).

We loved the homey feel to the Island. Everyone is so helpful. We couldn’t stop anywhere to look at a map with out some approaching us (in seconds) offering to help.

Visiting “Flamenco Beach” is a must. But there are many more beaches and spots to visit. The Island is small enough to get around in golf cart. But big enough to keep you busy for a couple of weeks.

Restaurants have very humble looks. Some don’t even have signs. When you enter them it feels like you walked in to someone’s home (kitchen, small and not great looking). BUT THE FOOD AND SERVICE ARE 5 STAR QUALITY. Our favorite was “Treasury Bay Restaurant”. Victor (Manager) is an awesome host.

Our only disappointment was that we didn’t spend more time on the Island. We can’t wait to go back.

Probably the best place to stay on Culebra

I have mixed feelings about this place. If I return to Culebra, I will likely stay here again, because there are really not many options on the island! _This by far looked to be the nicest._ The casitas were cute and a nice size, but a little maintenance was needed; the balcony needed a good scrubbing from so many bird droppings and the bathroom door didn't close well. The pool was small, but nice, and the staff was friendly and transported us to/from the ferry. The view of the cove off of our balcony was excellent. One last note, if you have mobility issues, check with the staff before booking. Most of the casitas have a lot of steps you will have to navigate.
