Overview

The Cosmopolitan Hotel is one of Las Vegas’ newest luxury properties. While it’s geared toward a younger demographic, the hotel does an excellent job of catering to families of all sizes and age ranges.

The hotel’s 2,995 accommodations range from mild to wild, with a healthily varied array of styles, ranging from basic City Rooms to Wrap-Around Terrace Suites, to multi-level Lanai Suites, to massive West End Penthouses and even private Bungalows. The City Room comes with two queen beds and a large, luxurious bathroom with marble floors. For families, we recommend the Terrace Studio Two Queen Beds, which comes with two queen beds, 620 square feet of space, a 110-square-foot private terrace and the same large, luxurious bathroom as the City Room. It also comes with a kitchenette, mini-bar and flat-screen TV’s. Other rooms include full kitchens, multiple bed rooms, bubbler tubs, private terrace Jacuzzi’s, projection TV’s and more.

Onsite dining packs quite a punch, with 13 restaurants for guests to choose from. Here, too, you’ll find a wide variety of options, including sophisticated modern Italian cuisine at Scarpetta, delectable sushi at Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill, and a unique fusion of classic Chinese and Mexican cuisine (that the kids will love!) at China Poblano.

The hotel offers families over 5,000 square feet of pool and deck space, as well as a complete fitness center, a third-floor kid-friendly sitting area — complete with family-style cuisine, board games and arcade games. And if that’s not enough, the Bellagio fountains are right next door, and The Cosmopolitan Hotel is a short walk to the Excalibur Hotel and Casino’s arcade, the Manhattan Express Roller Coaster and boardwalk-style arcade at New York New York, and more.

The Ever-Fabulous Cosmo ✨

by Brian S

My partner and I come to The Cosmo four times a year, every year, and for very good reason: No other luxury hotel provides such a richly-fulfilling, consistently glamorous experience from end to end, all the way through. (Oh, and it is the only hotel on the Las Vegas Strip with balcony'd standard rooms.)

While some folks prefer guest rooms that overlook The Bellagio fountains, I recommend requesting a high-floor room, facing south, or toward the airport. You'll get sun all day, a better sunset experience (see my image attached), and incomparable views down The Strip with the Veer Towers, Waldorf Astoria, Aria, Park MGM, and New York, New York all in plain view.

Don't forget that The Cosmo has two fitness centers—a 24-hour mini-gym in the Boulevard Tower and a staffed full-size gym in the Chelsea Tower.

The world-class restaurant collection at The Cosmo is unparalleled, and this visit, our standout culinary experiences were had at Zuma, Blue Ribbon, and—you can't skip this upscale buffet—Wicked Spoon.

We visited the Sahra Spa this trip but only to purchase some of their luxury skin products. (A visit to the hammam proper is on the list for next time.)

A note: Vesper Bar is closed for the next month or two for renovations, but if the redesign of Bond Bar into The Barbershop is any indication, the new concept will surpass the former.

It is quite remarkable that The Cosmo only seems to get cooler and more hip as it grows older. 2020 will be year ten for the resort, and it has never been a more fabulous, magical place. The right side of wrong, indeed.

Fab hotel.

Just returned from a 5 night break here.
I was part of a group booking and everyone loved the hotel.
Had a one bedroom terrace suite which was beautiful. Very clean. Toiletries replenished every day. Iron and board in room. Bed very comfy.
Check in was quick and easy and the staff very friendly.
Ate at Pok Pot and was delicious. There is a Starbucks for your morning drink, but can get very busy.
Walk way direct to miracle mile mall opposite where there is a Wallgreens and lots of reasonable places to shop, eat and drink.
Always taxis around or if you prefer Uber, they are always quick to arrive.
Hired a car, but a lot cheaper to collect from Tropicana hotel which was easy.
Taxi to airport about $20. Taxi to north outlet was about $15.
Would definitely return!
