My husband and I and our 2 sons went to Baltimore for a visit. We stayed at the Marriot Courtyard in Downtown Inner Harbor. This hotel is on Aliceanna St. There is another Marriot only a block away. We had come from visiting Washington and mad a more +pit stop for some sight seeing and to see a game at Camden Yards. We had made our reservations well in advace (over a month) to have a room that sleeps 4. We had requested 2 queen beds, but the staff said for about $60 more a night we can get a Queen suite. They said there is a pullout couch that will fit 2. Hmmm sounded good so we went for it. Upon arrival this pull out couch pulled into a singel bed. I called for assistance but due to the Easter holiday no other rooms were available nor no pullouts. So for 2 nights 1 of our sons had to sleep on the floor. And guess what??? They still charged us the extra $60 a night! I did call the Marriot and it has been about a week and still nothing is resolved. Pool is small here and no place to really hang out if the weather is not so goos. I suggest not to stay here even thought it is in a great spot. Not worth your aggravation, money or sleepless night! But do stay someplace else and visit Baltimore! It is beutiful with GREAT food and views!

While visiting Baltimore we stayed at the Courtyard Marriot in Baltimore MD on Aliceanna Ave. There is another Marriot nearby also. The area is very nice in the inner harbor. Nice walk to the Aquarium and all the big boats. Water taxi near by more +(for a fee) and free bus service for farther attractions. Camden yards also pretty close, and Oriole fans are really accepting of us Yankee fans!

The Hotel itself is neat and clean. Friendly at the check in desk as far as how to get around. Pool is small and only 3 ft deep. Hot tub was not working when we tried it after a long walk. I think he said it was being cleansed and needed 2 hours to heat up. This was being done at about 4pm, bummer! We really just stopped in to the room quick to stop and drop luggage. On returning to the room about 10 pm after a baseball game, we realized that this room can not fit 4. Hmmmmm, this was quite interesting since the reservations where made well in advance and we wanted a large bed and a pull out for 2. We did get a king size bed, but the pull out was a twin! UGH!~ This was spring break so there where no other rooms available when I called the front desk. Nor was there any cots. We had to put cushions and pillows on the ground to make a "bed" for our son to sleep on. Not really what you want for a $250 a night room (for 2 nights). No offers where made to make up for this either. We shall see how it ends since we are still in the room. But not the service that we wanted.Otherwise....do come visit Baltimore, and go down to the Federal Hill area for lunch or dinner. We went to Ryleigh's for lunch, very cozy, loved it!
