Located between the I-5 highway and the Lloyd Center, this Crowne Plaza is steps away from the Rose Garden home of the Blazers, the NBA basketball team in Portland, as well as the convention center. Rooms at the Crowne Plaza feature either a king bed with a pull-out sleeper sofa or two queen beds, but each are spacious 400-square-foot rooms offering ultra-plush pillowtop mattresses and luxury bedding, 32-inch LCD TV with a DVD player, free Wi-Fi, aromatherapy sleep kit, Keurig coffeemaker, refrigerator and microwave. The indoor saltwater pool and spa hot tub will be a treat after a long day exploring all that Portland has to offer, and room service is available from the onsite restaurant for those nights or mornings when facing the world with tired kids doesn’t seem like a good idea.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. When getting a room, try for facing away from the highway — it is noisy all night.. The rest of the hotel is well worn. At a reduced rate, I would stay again.

Nice hotel, nice restaurant

Hotel was quiet, clean, and comforable. I enjoyed dinner and the breakfast buffet there. You had to use your room key in the elevator so nobody could access your floor if they didn't have a room there. The only drawback, and this has nothing to do with the hotel itself, was that it's a half mile walk to public transportation and the convention center. However, when I chose to use uber instead of walk, it was easy and reasonable.
