About Delta Chelsea
Recognized as the best family hotel in the Great Toronto Area, Delta Chelsea has many amenities geared toward families and kids. Kids under age 18 stay for free at this hotel. Upon arrival, children up to age 7 receive a "Kids' Essentials" kit and parents are given information on best family attractions in Toronto. The hotel's 270 rooms have recently undergone extensive renovations. They feature modern decor, luxurious bedding, coffeemakers, work desks and small sitting areas. Select rooms also offer balcony access. Guests can also buy Internet for a daily fee. Families with longer stays may want to stay in a unit with a separate kitchenette and a pullout sofa. The best accommodations are the Family Fun Suites, complete with a living room and a number of kid-friendly amenities like small bathrobes, kid chairs, cookie jars, alphabet refrigerator magnets, DVDs, video games, gifts and bunk beds. Your kids won't want to go home!
Children under age 7 also eat for free, and kids between age 7 and 12 eat at a half-price discount. Children's menus are available. Market Garden Restaurant has also benefited from the renovations, acquiring a new look that gives it a more modern feel. A casual family-friendly atmosphere is coupled with laidback buffet-style dining. Different buffet areas offer a variety of items, including gourmet pizzas, soups and sandwiches. A Coffee & Tea Emporium is within the buffet. Bb33 Bistro and Brasserie is Delta's signature restaurant, serving regional Canadian specialties for dinner and lavish breakfast buffets. Their Sunday Brunch is also very popular. In-room dining is also available.
Delta houses a Family Fun Zone that contains a Kids Center, Club 33 Teen Lounge and a 130-foot, four-story waterslide (the only indoor waterslide in the city!). At Camp Chelsea, activities are planned on daily basis for children ages 5 to 12. Childcare is also available for kids ages 3 to 12, so mom and dad can have a romantic dinner on the town. The toddler playroom offers indoor playground equipment and an arts and crafts station. Teens can hang out and play ping-pong, air hockey or video games in the lounge.
An adults-only health club offers a nice environment for parents who want to work out while gazing at the Toronto skyline. Elmwood Spa has been recognized as one of the top five spas in the city, providing stone therapy and couples massage. An indoor pool and whirlpool are also reserved for guests over age 18.
Pets are also welcome at this hotel.
