We have a wonderful stay at the resort. This was my daughter's 3rd trip to WDW, but our first staying on sight. It is not top of the line by any means, but it is a wonderful place to stay and relax.

The staff was wonderful! The pools more +are nice and they have games and activities every day for the kids out by the pool. (With prizes!) My daughter loved it! The food was good. I do wish though we had bought the refillable cups they sell. (We will do that next time!) There is tons of stuff around the buildings to take pictures with. We LOVE the Toy Story section! Very very cute. And the other 2 All Star resorts are next to this one as well. All in walking distance. We had a wonderful time there and I think it's a great place for young children.

The on sight accommodations were good for this multi-generational party. Any and Every one could be independent. The pools allowed plenty of relaxation not far from the room while people could come and go to the theme parks as they wished. Truly more +the only downside was the food - expensive for what was offered, but that should be expected and buying the cup that allowed free refills payed off for both the soda and coffee drinkers.

In March we went to Disney World with my whole family, mom, dad, sister, nephew (age 8), brother and his friend (age 17 and 18), sister-in-law, my husband, me and the three kiddos (ages 8, 5, 1). We had been planning this trip for two years. We more +decided to stay at the All-Star Movies resort because of the price and we had stayed there before. We decided with the money we were saving on the rooms we would purchase the dining plan. For us the room was all about sleeping. We spent the majority of the days at the parks and would go back to the room for naps. We did spend one afternoon at the main pool, and the kids loved it.

The food is pretty good, and I love that grapes were a side item you could choose. We all loved eating breakfast there the kids love the Mickey Waffles. We stayed in the Toy Story Section so we didn't have a very long walk to the dining room or transportation. The hotel staff was friendly and answered any questions that we had. This was a perfect place for us to stay, we were able to spend family time together, our rooms were next to each other, but we were able to afford multiple rooms when we had enough family time.

All in all this was a great trip and we will stay here again.

We travelled to Disney World last year for our first official Family vacation. We decided to stay on site at Disney's All Star Movies Resort. We wanted to experience the "Disney". To say the least, staying on site has it's advantages. You are picked more +up from the Airport, your luggage is also picked up for you (huge plus). You are then shuttled to your resort aboard the "Magical Express". This is great for kids, as they are entertained along the way.

When we arrived at our hotel, we were greeted and checked in promptly. The staff at the front desk was so helpful and so cheerful. They answered all of our questions. We then were shown our room. They told us that are luggage would arrive with in 3 hours. We left the room to go and explore. This hotel is very child-orientated and child friendly. The pool is awesome with the Mickey Mouse fountain and the shallow and deep ends. There are lifeguards on duty, which as a parent, is very calming. My daughter LOVED the pool and that is all that she wanted to do.

The restaurant in the Hotel is "quick service" and is nothing to get excited about. The Breakfast food is basic and was good, but the lunch and dinner foods were too basic - I would not recommend eating here. However it is convenient and there is a bar for adults attached to the Restaurant.
The Gift store in this hotel was awesome. They had everything you could want "Disney". We bought quite a few things in here.

The buses to the Parks were right outside the main door - on that note - I would request a Preferred room when booking your room - this hotel is HUGE and getting a preferred room puts you near the pool, front desk, restaurant and buses (my daughter loves the movie 101 Dalmatians, so that is the building we requested and got - pay the extra for this option). The buses were quick and the longest we had to wait was maybe 5 minutes - we travelled in October, so it wasn't as busy.

The rooms here are basic, however they do add the special touches. WE had Mickey Mouse soap, shampoo and folded towels. And because we were there during my daughter's birthday (which I told them when we made the reservation) there were extra special things like an autographed picture of Minnie Mouse with a special message, there were balloons delivered to room as well. I believe that this hotel is worth every penny - which by the way was on sale when we booked so it was even more worth it. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room, so I think I would have regretted staying somewhere more expensive. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was great. I would not have stayed here had we not been travelling with a child as it is totally for kids.
I can't wait to go back!!!

I guess I expected more from a Disney resort! I've stayed at a Days Inn that is nicer than this place. There were no toiletries, no blow dryer, no coffee pot, no iron - absolutely nothing extra. We called for extra towels and it took 3 hours to get more +them. Our carpet by the a/c was soaked and management did nothing about it. Luckily we were able to get a partial refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
