What a wonderful time our family of four had at Disney's The hotel is in a wonderful location on the Boardwalk, a short walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Our family loved the nightly entertainment, and the great Community Hall more +area, full of activities for active tweens!

You will love it!

Our trip to Walt Disney World was going to be a once in a lifetime experience, and the Boardwalk Inn was a great addition!

Let me start by saying, we don't normally book expensive hotels. Our family prefers to use our vacation more +dollars for activities or souvenirs. We feel that a bed is for sleeping, and if we're going somewhere like Disney World, we are not going to be spending daylight hours in our hotel. Our plan was to stay at a value hotel, however, we discovered a neighbor is a member of the Disney Vacation Club & was unable to use their points. They offered us a deal we couldn't refuse...actually less expensive than the Pop Century!

That being said, the Boardwalk is probably one of the most centrally located hotels on the property. The hotel itself was really nothing special, the front desk & concierge were generally very busy and understaffed. We had a studio with a kitchenette, queen bed and pull out sofa. A small balcony overlooked the pool. The room was clean but could definitely use some updating, not style-wise, the decor was old-fashioned, but that was the theme of the hotel. By updating, I mean the kitchenette had appliances that were very, very old. The tv cabinet had a broken door that we decided we would just keep open.

We loved the Boardwalk part of the hotel. The restaurant options were great, with lots of choices in cuisine & price. I think we ate at every location on the Boardwalk & each time felt like we were getting a good value, whether it was a pastry & coffee, or steak at the Big River Grille. At night, there were street entertainers doing magic shows, juggling or playing music.

Epcot & Hollywood Studios were both very close by water taxi which stopped at the hotel nearly every 30 minutes. Epcot was also a very short walk. The bus shuttle to the other locations ran very reliably. The location of the hotel is definitely what you are paying for at the Boardwalk.

If we ever get a chance to go again, we would try to stay at the Boardwalk but only if we could arrange a timeshare deal again. We loved the location but the cost difference of nearly $4000 more for a week is just not something we would be willing to pay.

The Boardwalk is clean, bright and beautiful. We are from New Jersey and it is definitely reminiscent of the old fashioned boardwalk days. You can easily walk to Epcot or take a boat to Epcot and Disney Hollywood Studios. There are other resorts more +on the Boardwalk circle to walk to and dine in as well as many lovely shops and eateries. My DH's favorite was The ESPN Club for the sports and wings! We would love to return here with our son someday.
