Hoop-Dee-Do Musical Review
Hoot and holler with the hee-haw gang at this fun-filled Western vaudeville review, one of the most popular dinner shows on Disney property. On the menu: fried chicken, pork ribs, corn on the cob, strawberry shortcake and cornpone humor. Beverages and gratuity are included. Seating times are 5, 7:15 and 9:30 p.m. Reserve well in advance by calling 407-939-3463.
Mickey's Backyard Barbecue
At Fort Wilderness Pavilion behind Pioneer Hall, join an all-you-can-eat dinner Hoe-down, with picnic fixins' and professional entertainment, which includes rope tricks, singing and dancing with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Chip 'N Dale. Seating is communal at picnic tables, and plenty of high chairs are available (although table end spots are limited). The menu includes kid-friendly dishes like macaroni and cheese, hamburgers and ice cream treats. The show is held seasonally on Thursdays and Saturdays, with seating at 6 p.m. and show time at 6:30 p.m. Arrive early for a close-up view.
Trail's End Restaurant and Crockett's Tavern
Families will find instant gratification as well as value at this down-home sit-down and buffet-style eatery, located at Pioneer Hall. Just outside, there's a Take-out Window where you can pick up a fried chicken family feast or a pizza to go. Crockett's Tavern serves beer, wine, chicken wings and whole pizzas during dinner hours, and on the outside porch, there are picnic tables and games to keep the kids occupied.
Chuck Wagon
S'more fixins', hot dogs, popcorn and ice cream novelties are on the menu at this amusing snack spot, stationed permanently at the Campfire Sing-along. Restrooms are out back.
Meadow Snack Bar
Open seasonally from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., this snack window, located in the Meadow Pool building, serves up salads, sandwiches, snacks and desserts. For kids, there's cheese pizza and a turkey sandwich meal. Disney Dining Plan Quick Service and Snack credits are accepted.
