Although it's a popular choice for families visiting Disneyland, this hotel does not offer any supervised kid's clubs (Disney's Grand Californian Hotel is the only Disneyland in-park hotel that offers a childcare club). The closest you'll come to a kids' club is the Paradise Theater, a just-for-kids movie room that features Disney films on a sand castle TV, and is decked in beach chairs and a sand-colored carpet. But staff does not supervise children in this room, so don't leave the little ones unattended. If you need babysitting, the concierge will refer a childcare service that is not affiliated with the hotel.
A pool, spa tub and waterslide sit on the hotel's roof amidst a landscape of tropical plants. You'll find a nice view of Disneyland up here, and you may even catch some Disneyland fireworks if you take an evening dip. Other than the rooftop pool, Paradise Theater and a small fitness facility, the Paradise Pier offers little on-site recreation -- but the hotel is conveniently close to Disneyland, which serves as the primary recreational activity for most guests who stay here.
Extra Magic Hours allow all Disney Resort guests to take advantage of shorter waits for their favorite rides each day when one Disney theme park opens an hour early or stays open up to three hours after the official park closing. Check the weekly schedule when you arrive.
