We just returned from a one-week, all-inclusive vacation at the Dreams Tulum from March 16-23, 2013. Although the resort is far from the Cancun airport (approximately 90-120 minute drive), it is worth the drive. Once you are there, you are truly in more +paradise! And, there is a large expanse of beach on either side of the property with no other resorts for miles around.

This is our third Dreams vacation. We have also been to the Dreams Punta Cana and Dreams Riviera Cancun. We have thoroughly enjoyed each of our vacations to these properties. The locations are good, the food is plenty and the entertainment ensures that there is something for everyone to do. We found, traveling with the multi-generational family, that everyone was happy here. The children loved the Explorer's Club, the entertainment staff was high-energy, the spa was relaxing, the food was good (including coffee and smoothie cafes), and even the visiting exercise instructor was top-notch.

We had a fabulous time and are excited about trying the NOW properties that are also family-friendly, all-inclusive and owned by AMResorts. Perhaps that will be our next planned vacation...

Thanks for the memories!

Dream vacation at Dreams Tulum by anabelag@hotmail.com

Dreams Tulum is about an hour away from the airport, but very close to the breathtaking Tulum Ruins, and the fantastic nature parks Xelha, xplor, Xcaret. We visited all of them and had a blast. The hotel is beautiful, clean, gorgeous gardens, more +tranquil beaches. Just a short walk on the beach and it seems that you have arrived at a desert island. Most people stay right by the hotel. Food was excelent, we loved visiting the coffee shop in the afternoon and getting a cappuccino and pastry. Staff was friendly and attentive. It was a wonderful vacation. Our 7 yr old daughter had a blast and so did her 8 and 9 yr old cousins who joined us.

Dreams Tulum was definitely a dream come true for a family vacation for our group of 13 -- ranging from 9 - 70. The accommodations were lovely -- from the expansive, open air lobby to the spacious rooms. We were greeted with cold drinks and warm more +towels upon arrival and that set the tone for a truly wonderful vacation. Kids LOVED all inclusive idea -- were ordering smoothies as soon as we arrived! Room service was quick and good. Restaurants were great -- particularly the Asian one. Staff was wonderful - lots of activities for all from beach volleyball to trampoline jumping to pottery painting.

Tulum is a great location -- we heard people who were concerned about the ride from the airport -- it was a lovely, air conditioned bus and took just under an hour. Not in the least difficult. The beaches are amazing -- we could walk for miles, the Tulum ruins gorgeous with a spectacular beach and several Eco parks in the area were great for snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, zip lining and cave exploring.

We can't wait to go back!

We (Gramma, Grampa, two daughters and husbands, four children and Aunt Katie) ages 3 to 62 stayed for 7 nights at Dreams Tulum.

This was our eleventh trip to Mexico and second stay at Dreams Tulum. This is a true luxury family more +resort with a great kids club and wonderful people who keep you and the kids busy all day long. The kids club has special activities for the kids such as sand castle building, crafts, movies on the beach at night and a camp out on the beach complete with a sing along. They even have a special "kids area" at the buffet with kid friendly food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The evening shows were fun and always kid friendly.

The resort is very clean and has a beautiful beach and pool area. There is even a quiet pool for adults if you want to relax for awhile. All in all, I would highly recommend Dreams Tulum to anyone looking for a great vacation for the whole family!
