NOT the Wonderful World of Embassy!!!!

We stayed at the Embassy Suites Anaheim in Garden Grove, CA, over spring break 2010. We are Hilton Honors members. I don't think that matters to the individual hotels.

Upon arrival, we requested a room away from elevators which is more +also stated in our membership profile. However, the staff conveniently placed us next to the laundry room and staff elevator which runs ALL night. It was very noisy. We made several phone calls to the front desk. It always amazes me when the staff says that they can't move guests because other rooms have been reserved for future guests who are not here yet and are arriving later. What about us???? We are here NOW!!!! I guess we just aren't as important as those "FUTURE" guests.

FINALLY, the staff agreed to move us. The new room was much quieter. However, it was inconvenient to repack and move. The couch in the new room had "crusty" stuff on the couch cushions. I can only imagine!!!! The phone cord was broken. We told the front desk. The phone cord was replaced but the cushion was NOT. GROSSSSSSSS!!!!!


Plus, they NEVER brought us our Hilton Honors membership gift after check-in.
