Overview

Formerly the Gershwin Hotel, The Evelyn is one in a collection of boutique properties operated by Triumph Hotels. Located in the NoMad neighborhood, the hotel is within walking distance of Union Square, Madison Square Park, Fifth Avenue and Broadway. Guests receive complimentary Wi-Fi and morning coffee and pastries. Executive King Suites are the largest for families, with a separate king bedroom and living room with sleeper sofa.

Our new favorite hotel in NYC

We recently stayed at the Evelyn for the first time. We loved it! The staff is efficient and friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated, quiet and comfortable. Everything is kept neat and clean and has that early 1900’s charm. The restaurants we tried in the hotel were good and the service excellent. We didn’t try Benno, but were very impressed that it now is Michelin Star rated.

Having done lots of research and looking at endless hotels, I decided on the Evelyn.
The location is absolutely brilliant and easy access to metro stations within a few minutes. Easy to get to midtown without all the noise and chaos of actual being there.
The staff were so attentive an friendly Mx especially the cleaning staff, De’Marcus who was an absolute delight and helpful and Tashi at the door - a gem for your place!
I came for the New York Marathon. - couldn’t have picked a better place. Comfy beds great Art Deco bar and lounge. The free wine hour in the lobby was much appreciated too!
Can’t wait to come back!!
