Overview

The Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu is a gorgeous, luxury hotel in Quebec, about an hour and 15 minutes outside of Quebec City. The hotel is especially cozy in the winter, with an array of outdoor activities that include dogsledding and cross-country skiing. In the summer, play tennis, go for a hike, or play a round of mini-golf. The options are endless!

Plus, the hotel welcomes kids with special amenities, such as kid-size bathrobes; kids’ menus (for six onsite dining options); and a swimming pool. Babysitting services can be arranged, as well.

Cribs and rollaway beds are available to add to guestrooms and specialty suites. Connecting rooms are available with advance notice, too. Wi-Fi is available for an additional fee.

Be sure to check out the resort’s packages — there are several!

Looking for traditional high quality and not disappointed.

by Norma S

This grand old dame of the upper St. Lawrence has retained its historical charm. The breakfast buffet was wonderful but we were a little disappointed that we could have have a traditional full course sit down dinner in the grand dining room.

Old world charm on the Sea

by Sharon R

The road alone from Quebec City, Canada that meanders along rolling hills and views of the sea is beautiful. And when you arrive to this lovely destination in a sparsely populated town called La Maibaie, you know the journey was just the beginning. The hotel itself has a lot of character and the grounds surrounding, with trails to the sea and up into the hills are lovely. My best friend and I where surprised to see how quiet it was and how lucky we were to have it mostly to ourselves. A must visit!
