Afternoon Tea

by GlobeTrotting0901

Recently stayed in a lodge nearby for a long weekend with some girlfriends, we decided to have an afternoon tea here as a last treat before heading home, we were very silly and ended up buying the wrong amount of vouchers for the afternoon tea and shared 2 between the 4 of us hahaha, however the staff were so lovely about our hiccup, at the end we were offered a slice of cake each as opposed to the 2 we should have been given and we were given plenty tea for the 4 of us as opposed to them just giving us the 2. The lady who pours the tea was lovely and let us have a sniff of any teas and offered to let us try any we had fancied, she recommended teas for the more nontea drinkers (myself) and something to push the boat out for my friends. Overall service was top notch, the hotel is beautiful and parking was ample on our visit, if it was closer to home we would def come back for another afternoon tea.
