The barrier island of Fenwick sits on the border of Delaware and Maryland, and is situated between Ocean City, Maryland and Bethany Beach, Delaware.

This small and sometimes quiet beach town offers more than just sand and ocean for families to enjoy. Rich in maritime history, the Fenwick Island Lighthouse and the DiscoverSea Shipwreck Museum are fun things to do in Fenwick Island. Classic fun like go-karts, mini-golf and a waterpark, will also keep families happy for Fenwick Island vacations.

Seafood lovers will not be disappointed when visiting this barrier island with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Little Assawoman Bay (yes, that's really what it's called and the "big" Assawoman Bay is located in Maryland) on the other. Local restaurants featuring crab, oysters, shrimp and other local catches, and of course, lots of dessert options like crepes and ice cream, line the streets of Fenwick Island.
