That would be like staying in the ocean with a high tide plus rip tide when most life guards clear the water and the white water crush is tremendous, i.e. head clunkers! Glad yours wasn't too bad.

Congrats on the new pup! Love to hear about new puppies, takes me back to when my now 13 year old was 8 weeks and I picked her up from the airport where she was flown to me here in NYC from Nashville, Tennessee! She came right out of her crate and started playing fetch. We don't have many travel-related puppy stories!!

What's the baby's name, we must know, since it WAS part of the trip, and do hope it is adjusting well to your family!

You got a double winner - great vacation & what sounds like adorable new puppy! YEAH!!
The pups name is "Buster", almost got changed to "Bullet" today . My other dog "Linzee" (lab) is doing the momma thing with him, but not enjoying the face lunging the pup is doing. "Shadow" my cat is well shall we say kinda pissed at the whole ordeal but he'll come around, eventually. I'm passing out treats for forgiveness.

The Tanzaniun Twister is one of those slides with a great big bowl with a giant opening in the center. You body slide (feet crossed, arms locked behind head) down the chute, spin round and round, nice and smooth) then finally drop in hole into a pool of water. My swim skirt was up to my chin, I'm praying the ta-ta's stay put as there are literally hundreds of people watching from above and dropped head first into the pool of water. I didn't really bump my head but got miscombobulated as to which way to swim. A hand reached through the pouring down water (my savior) and pulled me through. He was smiling and people were laughing as I hauled my body out.
