Spring Skiing

Hi all,

With the way above seasonal temperatures here in the East, I was wondering if anyone was able to get any spring skiing in before the snow all melted? Are any of the hills still open?

Hot weather has made for some unseasonable summer style fun, but the reality is that snow is in the forecast again next week. Things get tricky when we have the winter, spring and summer clothes bins all open at the same time

I hope to satisfy this spring skiing bug, but it doesn't look likely....

Forgive the delayed reply; I was traveling out of the country on Disney's new Fantasy cruise ship.

Spring skiing is actually still in full effect in the western states. Colorado and some of the states actually got hit with snow storms a couple of weeks back. The season has not be ideal, but the mountains have been making snow so you may even get to enjoy spring skiing in a t-shirt with the warmer temperatures. Some of the resorts are offering ski deals through mid-April. If you'd like to squeeze in a trip before the season ends, you just may score some great rates on hotels, many of which are offering free lift tickets and rentals as well as buy-ine, get-one rates to entice skiers to make it out to the slopes.
