We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to camp... grew up as a tent camper but quickly became a fan of RV's after a disasterous tent trip with 18 month old twins! We bought a travel trailer the following spring and have been averaging 5-6 weekends of camping every year since then. Last summer we upgraded to a 5th wheel complete with 4 bunks... with three kids it was getting a little old setting beds up and down every night.
Most of our camping trips are weekends on one of the Great Lakes in Michigan... Ludington State Park is our favorite place to go but we have been exploring other state parks closer to home this year.
Favorite camping activities: adventure walks, bike riding, hanging out on the beach and sitting by the camp fire.
