Thumbs up Silverwood/boulder beach

I know this reply is a little late, but I wonder why more people aren't talking about Silverwood/Boulder Beach near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho? We are going for our 3rd time this July! (We drive down from Alberta.) My son (who just turned 11) liked it better than Disneyland! These parks are very clean and have something for everyone - of any age. We usually buy a 2-day pass (spend one day at Silverwood, the other at Boulder Beach). Make sure you plan for a hot day to visit Boulder Beach. We always stay at the Ameritel Inn in Coeur d'Alene. Reasonably priced, we got a nice room with a 2nd sink (bar/counter/microwave/frig area). Breakfast is included at the hotel and it was very good - not just pastries and cereal. The large pool is open 24 hours. The hotel location is great - easy access to the highway and we always take a side trip to Spokane. Since I am not a coaster fan, Boulder Beach is my personal favorite. I can't wait -while my husband and son are enjoying the water slides, I will be lounging on a chair sipping a nice cold slushy cocktail........
