Default Camping "Resorts"

Wondering if anyone could recommend any camping "resorts". I'm thinking along the lines of Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground; a place that may be near other attractions or scenic parks, but that has plenty to do onsite if you just want to relax in the campground - good pools, playgrounds, nature trails, waterslides, etc. A campground that makes a good destination itself, not just a place to sleep overnight.

I am not looking for RV-only places. I have a pop up camper and a 13 year old boy, plus a lot of family that likes to tag along on camping trips.

All recommendations are welcome, anywhere in the US. We do a lot of our trips in Florida, Tennessee, and North Carolina, but I'd travel anywhere that I can plan a good trip.

Thanks for any help.

At North Beach Camp Resort near downtown St. Augustine in East Florida, you have the option to pitch your tent right on the edge of the picturesque - a perfect cove, sheltered by rocky outcrops.North Beach Camp Resort is located on 30-heavily-wooded acres on a barrier island between the saltwater North River and the Atlantic Ocean, just 4.5 miles north of historic downtown St. Augustine and 24 miles south of Jacksonville Beach.

For some outdoorsy families, simply having a tent, a firepit, and a piece of wilderness is heaven and family camping suits perfectly. Camping resorts can range in style from rustic-opulent to rustic-for-real.Catch up with Yogi Bear and his pals at the Jellystone Park of Estes, in between the Colorado Rockies and Roosevelt National Forest. The park offers a number of activities, including mini-golf, movie nights, dances, family-style campfire activities, cookout breakfasts on Saturdays and Sundays, basketball courts, and an outdoor heated pool.
