Heavenly in Tahoe
Next winter, we scheduled a ski trip at the base of Heavenly. We have skied Incline (or Diamond Peak) but never south Lake Tahoe.
Heavenly is a Peaks Resort, and since we have been to Beaver Creek, we know it can be very nice but costly. What is the best way to buy lift tickets in high season? Rentals on site or off?
What else should we do at this part of Lake Tahoe?
Also, to save money, we are thinking of flying into San Francisco and then drive to Lake tahoe, rather than Reno. Is it worth it to save the money?
