In winter, the resort offers ski in/ski out service, located just steps from Jackson Hole's Bridger Gondola, Eagle's Rest and Teewinot chairlifts; and the base camp counselors boast that they can teach anyone to ski or snowboard. Four Seasons overlooks 5,000 acres of skiable terrain. Don't ski? Don't worry. Try snowshoeing, ice skating, dog sledding, sleigh rides, snowmobiling or tubing.
Warm weather activities include horseback riding, hot air balloon rides, golfing, fishing, river rafting and hiking trips into the mountains.
During down time there are plenty of amenities within the resort to keep your family busy. A fitness center includes state-of-the-art equipment including treadmills, elliptical trainers, and stationary bikes and there are free yoga classes in the aerobics room. The fitness center also has a whirlpool and steam room. Enjoy mountain views in one of three hot tubs while the kids play in the fully heated, 75-foot outdoor pool. During the winter months, families are even treated to heated towels and robes with complimentary hot chocolate and s'mores served by the pool. The Alpine Spa offers a variety of massages and spa treatments; it has 16 treatment rooms, including two private spa suites, each with a Swiss shower, fireplace and deep soaking tub.
The resort's "Kids Club" has a pool table, foosball, computer games, Xbox 360 and televisions; but there is no supervised program. You can sign your kids up at the nearby Kids' Ranch, a licensed child-care facility for children 6 months to 17 years old, which is operated by Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The program offers summer and winter programs which can include skiing, snowboarding and riding lessons, hiking, and a variety of outdoor sports for older children. Youngest kids can join the Wrangler Daycare and Pre-Ski program, which teaches budding skiers basic concepts. The Four Seasons property has an onsite "Kids Club" that is really more of a game room, with a pool table, foosball, video games and televisions.
The resort does offer ski instruction during the winter, for children ages 3 to 17, as well as classes in hiking and mountaineering in the summer months.
The Four Seasons has babies covered. The resort offers cribs and rollaway beds at no extra charge, as well as complimentary use of highchairs, playpens, strollers and baby joggers. In addition you'll find complimentary emergency baby supplies like diapers, formula, bottles and bottle warmers, as well as baby-proofing and babysitting services.
