Not so charming anymore

by HolgerG909

Having stayed here previously, we decided to come back, since the location is excellent. This time our experience was different.
Our room was in the next door building, quite small, first floor above a noisy bar where the music only stops after 11pm.
If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs are necessary to get a good nights sleep. Continental breakfast is still part of the deal and provides a good start into your day. Our room was basic, a coffee maker and a fridge are provided, the wardrobe only had 2 hangers. This place only works for travelers that are tired of the big hotel chains.

A Nice Place

I've stayed here several times and always had a good experience. Quaint rooms, reasonable prices and a great location, a couple of blocks from the theatre district and right in Hell's kitchen. Central park is an easy walk and if you're so inclined so is Times Square. There's a restaurant/bar downstairs with pretty good food or there's all the restaurants along the street (try La Tanzi!).
