About Fun Royale Beach Resort
Nestled in the Playa Dorada area of Puerto Plata, Fun Royale is a three-story hotel with more than 165 rooms. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport -- just a 20-minute drive away. Rooms are air conditioned with color televisions, telephones and cribs on request. Balconies overlook the gardens. Three restaurants and a beach club snack bar are located at Fun Royale, including Miranda, serving Brazilian cuisine, and Il Mediterraneo, specializing in Italian dishes. An onsite pizzeria is a more casual dining option. For fun, daily activities are planned for guests of all ages. Children enjoy their own club, called the Little Village Club, that runs supervised activities from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The program is suited to kids between the ages of 4 and 12 years. Guests can also go bicycling, play tennis or attend the nightly entertainment shows. With the beach onsite, SeaPro Divers offers windsurfing, snorkeling and kayaking. A scuba diving clinic is also provided in the resort's pool.
