A big draw for families is Moose Mountain Falls, which is the resort's all-season, 50,000-square-foot waterpark. With 30,000-square feet indoors, and 20,000 outdoors, Moose Mountain Falls has two heated waterslides, a lazy river, indoor and outdoor activity pools, two interactive splash pools, and three spas. The giant slides take you for over 300 feet, spinning you inside and out, before plunging back into an indoor, heated pool.

In winter months you can ski and snowboard on 18 downhill slopes and loads of cross country trails. For snowboarders there is a half pipe and terrain park for more experienced boarders. Lessons are offered at the ski pro shop for beginners to experts. The slopes open at 10 a.m. and close after night skiing which is about 10 p.m. Bring your own equipment or rent from the well-stocked pro shop. The resort's Snow Cubs program is designed to introduce children 4 to 6 years of age to skiing, while the Mountain Mites club offers group instruction for kids 6 to 14 years old.

The resort's children's program, "Kids Are Grand" accepts potty-trained kids between 4 and 12 years old. With two or three themed sessions per day, kids are supervised while they enjoy movies, make crafts, take trips to the stables and petting zoo, play in the game room, go on scavenger hunts, and even pan for gold. Sessions are $40 per day and include mini pizza, chips and juice. There is also a $50 evening session that includes a build-your-own ice cream sundae bar. For children under 4-years-old, in-room babysitting is available for a fee.

Bring your sneakers. The sports center has an indoor rock wall, tennis courts, an indoor junior Olympic pool, sculpting classes, horseback riding, volleyball court, and basketball court. The spa and fitness center offer many relaxing specials to pamper mom and dad, including hot stone massages, deep tissue massages, couples massages, and facials. Try one of the many Yoga or Pilates classes or working out on the cardio machines, weight machines, free weights, treadmills, elliptical, and rowers.

Grand Geneva is also home to two championship golf courses. The brute course is over 7,000 yards with 68 bunkers and the Highlands course is a Scottish-style course. Golf Magazine named Grand Geneva winner of a 2007 Silver Medal.

Kids will also love the trolley that takes you around the property.
