I have been going to this hotel for 10 years in a row now, from the time I was 12. There has never been a dull moment. They provide plenty of supervised activities for kids 5 and up, and adults can go off on their own to do what they please. more +There is a main pool area, a kid pool area, and an adults only secluded pool area. It is located on a secluded beach so you don't encounter a ton of locals and crowds. The spa by far is the most amazing I have ever seen or experienced!! Just note that the food and drinks along with other merchandise on hotel property are VERY pricey. A smoothie alone is about $8 and the breakfast buffet I believe starts around $30 per person. Other than that the hotel staff and facility are AMAZING!!

This hotel was so gorgeous and in a great location. It was within walking distance to Whalers village yet far enough away from downtown. The beach was amazing and the grounds of this hotel were kept flawless. Everyone who worked there was so helpful more +and friendly.During that time we were traveling with an infant and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and make sure we had everything we needed for the baby.

The Grand Wailea located on the south shore of Maui is perfect for a family with older children. There is a spa for Mom - A golf course for Dad and the children play all day in the pool. This pool is so much more than just a pool. It is as I more +stated in the title a Water Park. Equipped with rapids, waters slides that take your breath away, rope swing and even a water elevator! So you don't have to climb the stairs each time you want to go down the "big" one as it became known in our family. The beach out front is phenomenal for a natural snorkeling experience and or paddle boarding the new rage in Hawaii.
