We traveled with our three children aged 9, 13 & 15. We had a wonderful experience here at the Great Parnassus! Our kids keep asking when will we go back! My husband and I even stated we would vacation here again, just the two of us.

We went to the Great Parnassus in Cancun Mexico with 40 friends. I found a great deal and sent it off to friends and family and we ended up being 40 people with parents and kids. We had the best weather and truly enjoyed ourselves. This resort is more +very kid friendly, it has a great kids section and the entertainment staff is absolutely wonderful to the children. We had children from the age of 4 to 14 with us and they all love it. Being in such a large group in Mexico you would figure that at least one of us would be sick from the water or food, but not one. The whole group was fine, no vomiting, diarrhea or sickness. I would recommend this resort to other families. The food was delicious, we truly enjoyed the Italian restaurant. All the the restaurants were fantastic. We had some issues in waiting for tables at the Steak house one night because we were such a big group. The rooms are very spacious, and they have bunk beds with a trundle for families with more than 2 kids. The ocean and beach were exceptionally clean and we spent alot of time out there. Out of all the families we were with they said that they would go back especially for the amount we paid.

Annually we plan a trip down south with our children. Usually it has been to Florida but at this point in time we wanted to take our kids on a trip to Mexico. Our oldest son actually did a small project on the culture and the Country in general of more +Mexico so this trip was a must. We had a difficult task of finding a kid friendly, updated but not too expensive of a resort. My wife and I are used to the luxuries of the Royal family of resorts in Cancun but needed to stay within budget and provide a fun place to stay for our children. The reviews on the resort were either fantastic or poor. I set aside most of the poor reviews as they did not seem to have a "family" theme to them. The hotel was rated a 3-3.5 star.

The day we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff making sure our trip to Mexico was enjoyable and that staying at the Great Parnassus would be an amazing experience. They promised big things and surprisingly they delivered! From the accomodations, the amenities, various pools, the Pirate ship, the waterslides and the food (for an all-u-can-eat plan) was very good! The staff made a huge difference and the full experience of this resort exceeded our expectations and would not hesitate to recommend it! I would even go as far as to rate this a 4* resort. Well done!

This is the first time that we stayed at this resort. Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay. The Great Parnassus is a wonderful place to either relax by the pool or be actively involved in any of the numerous activities that the more +entertainment staff have planned for the kids or the adults. The resort and grounds are keep very clean. There is always someone cleaning something. Compared to previous resorts that we have stayed at, we found the "family room" we stayed in very spacious and the bathroom area quite large. The beds are on the firm side, but when you have as much fun and sun as we did you would melt into a 2x4 by the end of the day. The food was very good with a great selection to choose from. The pool side snack bar had a good selection of food and the nearby bar was abundantly stocked with what ever you needed to quench your thirst. Thank You Great Parnassus for allowing our family a wonderful vacation in Cancun, Mexico.

I was pleasantly surprised by all we were getting at this resort. My kids had a blast. There is lots of things for the kids to do. Of course the kids club is awesome with it's own water park area and club house but in addition there are shows that more +they involve the kids in and locals come for crafts and they even have a paint your own Mexican ceramics area. The activity coordinators are really great too. Beach activity is up to you. Play volleyball, swim or take a nap. There was always someone asking if they can get you a drink. We were happy with our outside the resort activities as well. I was not sure what to expect because no one I new tried this resort yet so I was the first. Way happy with it and the nice part was for my first trip to Mexico it made me want to return. A very positive experience.
