About Great Wolf Lodge Charlotte-Concord

Concord, NC

Great Wolf Lodge is one of the best places for children. A giant indoor waterpark provides hours and hours of fun times. The treehouse-style park is reserved specifically for overnight guests and passes are valid from check-in to check-out. Its indoor atmosphere allows the park run year-round, always staying at a balmy 84 degrees. Many types of themed suites sleep four to eight people. Family Suites display a rustically elegant decor with wood accents, a semi-private living area and a sleeper sofa. The Wolf Den is a family-favorite, equipped with bunk-beds, flat-screen televisions, sleeper sofas and a balcony or patio. KidKamp or KidCabin suites also offer sectioned off sleeping areas just for kids. The resort has plenty of activities for children of all ages. Story time and Cub Club are for little ones, while toddlers can play in the zero-depth kiddie pool. Everyone can enjoy an onsite arcade. Adventurous family members can ride on the six-story human funnel or raft up the River Canyon Run. Competitive mat races take place at the waterslides. Every morning a huge, animated clock tower comes to live at 10 a.m. Kids even enjoy their own spa. A handful of restaurants are at the resort, including Pizza Hut, Bear Paw Sweets & Eats and Loose Moose Cottage.

The amount of glass windows in the water area makes it a little chilly, though. The water was way too cold for the baby. The lobby is great, with a huge fireplace and they had Halloween ... more +
