The Great Wolf Lodge is always our favorite place to get away as a family. We love the set up of the rooms and the layout of the hotel. The water park is attached to the hotel so not much walking and zero driving once you arrive. The food there more +is not great but the Grapevine Mall is a short drive away and they have tons of places to eat. Overall, we love staying here.

The Great Wolf Lodge is a wonderful place for families, especially in the winter! There are several pools with activities for kids of all ages - a wave pool, a kiddie pool with stationary jet skis with water guns, a huge fort with water spraying more +everywhere, not to mention great water slides! And best of all, the water is heated, so you never get cold walking around the water park even when it's 50 degrees outside.

If you're not in the mood for swimming, they also have an arcade and the MagiQuest which has you search for clues all over the resort (fun for older kids). You'll need to buy a wand and the game can take a lot of time, so know what you're getting into before you decide to play. The Great Wolf Lodge is a vacation in itself, so although Grapevine as a lot to offer visitors, you may never want to leave the resort!

This resort is top notch when it comes to an indoor waterpark. We had hours of fun on all slides, lazy river, wave pool, and Giant water play area. There is a section for all ages. Including those who just want to sit in an all adult hot tub and more +watch the kiddos from here. The rooms were spacious and well themed, especially the kids cabin rooms. They have bunk beds and allow for a tad of privacy for parents. The food however is extremely overpriced and sparse. You can choose from a take out pizza hut, a sit down bar type eatery and an extremely expensive buffet. We tried all three and the buffet was just "okay";, nothing special but was about $20 a person. The bar/grill took forever to get our food and it was just average as well. As for the pizza, it was hot but not too tasty. I would recommend bringing some of your own food and utilizing the microwave and fridge in your room. HOWEVER, the waterpark was so awesome that I can overlook the food!! I think kids of all ages will enjoy this resort!

This resort is great fun...but I am concerned about the water. It does not appear as clean as it was when they first opened.

For example, I only saw children using the bathroom to change clothes!! This did not set well with more +me.

I encouraged my kids to go a lot.

This was a birthday party for my daughter. It is kinda an expensive outing.

Plus, the kids always want to do more, and more....

The room was great, but it was even a little too expensive.

This year I am still looking, but am leaning toward a nice hotel with just an indoor pool..or maybe some other side event.

Also, my child and one other friend got this horrible rash inside their arms and the back of their legs. The doctor said it was a rash from the pools...yuck....
