About Hale Koa Hotel

Hale Koa is a hotel that caters to U.S. Armed Forces and their families. The hotel spreads out over 72 acres of tropical gardens and beach in Waikiki. Hale Koa is known for their three live entertainment shows -- Hale Koa Luau, Magic in Paradise Show and High & Right Comedy Night. Local weekly activities are also available, including hula lessons, garden tours and Hawaiian crafts. Especially fun for kids, Hale Koa has three pools, a video game room and beach fireworks on Fridays. Typically, the hotel offers family-friendly specials, like children age 10 and under stay free of charge. Accommodations are clean and tastefully decorated with one or two beds, air conditioning and coffee makers.

Stayed at the Gateway on Pearl Harbor for a few days before moving to Hale Koa. Paid half the cost at Gateway with free parking, internet, frig/freezer, local phone calls, great in room coffee and comfortable beds. Was disappointed with all the additional cost at Hale Koa.
