Home Away from Home

by Expedition224238

We lived here for 5 weeks during repairs to our home. The staff is INCREDIBLE, from front desk to kitchen to housekeeping. I can’t say enough good things about them. Everything was clean; the indoor pool was salt water and heated, the workout room (although small) was nicely stocked with a variety of equipment, and the rooms were clean. My only “negative” is that the carpet throughout the hotel was worn. It seems time for an upgrade. However, it too was clean. We were very thankful to have this place to stay while we were displaced.

Wasn't able to get a good night sleep

by dhz_tlv

My stay at the hotel was disappointing.
The pillows and mattress were not comfortable for me and although I did get some sleep, it was a short one. The room was quiet at night when I managed to sleep, but there is a train passing nearby and it uses the horn. It was heard loudly in the room (facing Pratt road).
On the positive side, the persons at reception were polite and friendly. Breakfast was good. However, they didn't have tea. The breakfast caretaker told me they didn't get tea from their supplier. I just wonder why couldn't they cross the street to the Ingles supermarket and bought tea there.
