Overview

Harbour Lights is on the Intracoastal Waterway, a short drive from the beach. Buildings resemble a typical beach community with pastel colors and wrap-around porches. Families enjoy biking the winding roads, relaxing by the lake or walking along the beaches. Of course, at Harbour Lights, you don’t need to leave to resort to have a wonderful time. The property has a large pool, a children’s pool, a lazy river and a hot tub. An activities program plans fun events around the pool or in the clubroom. Knot’s Bar and Grill is a seasonal poolside restaurant that serves a famous “I’m on Vacation Sundae.” Lunches and dinners can be eaten by the pool. The only thing that top the resorts’ myriad of activities is the accommodations. Guests stay in two-bedroom villas with full kitchens, washer/dryer units, living rooms, balconies and DVD players. Villas are stately decorated with nautical themes and colorful accents with plenty of room to stretch out.

Not again

by Diane N

Although the grounds were beautiful and well cared for, the room was a motel room. The bottom lock on the door did not work and light came in all around the door. Everytime a neighbor went out, the sound and the door shutting shook our room. This trip was a gift from some friends and they were shocked at the size of the room. The beds weren't that comfortable. After my husband told them no to their "open house" sales pitch, they called the next morning to see what I would say. We weren't told where everything was located, just given a map. We weren't told about the washer and dryer until we asked a day later. We will NOT recommend this place nor come back.

Mrytle Beach

Great place to stay when visiting Mrytle Beach. The only disappointment was the B.B.Q. We are Canadian and we do alot of barbecuing. It was briquette only and there were only 3 or 4 for the whole property. Plus the B.B.Q. are not sheltered so if there is rain then there will be no B.B.Q. that night. The screened in deck is very nice
